Purchasing Controller & Tender Manager

About the role
You will get the opportunity to fundamentally change how we do sourcing and be commercially challenged in an organization that welcomes change. You will play a crucial role in enhancing overall supply chain efficiency while supporting the organization’s financial and sustainability goals.
The role is split 50/50 between purchasing controlling and tendering.
As a Purchasing Controller, you will support the procurement organization by analyzing and reporting on sustainability targets, supplier performance, and other relevant KPIs. You will collaborate cross-functionally to build a solid foundation for informed purchasing decisions that optimize both cost efficiency and sustainability performance.
In the tendering part of the role, you will be responsible for driving RFQ processes within relevant categories, fostering competition in the market, and supporting category managers with strategic initiatives and targeted interventions. You will also work closely with other key stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment, share insights, and contribute to continuous improvement across procurement processes.
The position is based in either Malmö or Gothenburg. You’ll be part of a flat organizational structure, reporting directly to the Indirect Sourcing Manager, who in turn reports to the CPO on our management team.
Your background and personal traits
- 3 years of experience in strategic purchasing; consultancy experience is also considered advantageous.
- Good project management and analytical skills, with a strong interest in driving improvement initiatives.
- Proven track record of leading the RFQ process.
- Strong business understanding and a strategic mindset with a technical interest.
- Some experience from or involvement in change initiatives or transformation projects.
- University degree, preferably within Business, Economics and/or Engineering.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Service-oriented and self-driven with a strong motivation to achieve results.
- Communicative team player who is eager to grow and contribute to ambitious goals.
